Spotlight on Justin Pagotto

My name is Justin Pagotto and I am half Italian, half Kiwi married to Katie with 3 kids.
Noah 20 (playing college basketball in USA), Eliana 18 doing her HSC and Sambo 16 who is probably the world’s best hugger and just got his L Plates.

I grew up in Lismore and at age 7 my parents got divorced which was like a torpedo in my heart that I will share more about later.  I got saved at the end of Year 11,  then moved to Sydney for 24 years for uni and got married the day after I graduated! Looking back,  I thought what were you thinking about getting married so young…..but by the grace of God Katie and I are happily married 28 years later.  We currently live in a beautiful town called Lake Cathie about 20 minutes south of Port Macquarie.

In Sydney, I went to a great church called Randwick Baptist (now GracePoint Church) that was an epicentre for a major move of God in the 90’s.  Despite the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, God started working on healing my heart.
Due to my parents divorce, it released powerful feelings of abandonment and I was the poster boy for performance orientation and working for love. I loved Jesus with a passion but wasn’t really sure if Father God was really loving or safe.

My first experience with inner healing ministry was with Victorious Ministries Through Christ (VMTC) as my Father in law was a minister. I remember having to forgive my Mum and Dad and how painful it was. They had a prophetic word that my heart had a band- aid on it with an open wound underneath.  I have had multiple sessions with VMTC .This opened the door for the first  level of healing in my life. Our church also led Elijah House and Theophostic healing that brought the second wave of healing to my life.

At the same time, I also read the Spirit of Sonship by John Alley and pursued Spiritual Fathers and Mothers which was also incredibly healing to have a revelation, I am a much loved son, with nothing to prove who can relate to Father God as a friend.

Without inner healing and deliverance I would still be in the bondage of performance orientation and struggle to receive divine love, love myself and love others. It’s that simple. I think holistic inner healing and deliverance is essential for every Christian.

My journey into being trained in inner healing is a funny one. I used to say to my Father in law Bill, I couldn’t think of anything worse than ministering to people in a world of pain for hours and hours.  But God has an outrageous sense of humour.
Even in my difficult times of getting free, I had prophetic words that I would bring peace to many and be like a Father to thousands.

I am a Financial Adviser and also started a Holidays with Purpose social enterprise in the Philippines.  I spent two years setting up “Trips+”  then Covid came and blew it all up when borders closed.  In the past, this would have been absolutely devastating but when you are a much loved son, failure doesn’t have the same sting. God had a cunning plan to alter my life and I somehow found myself at a Sozo training in Newcastle. Also Jodie, a lady at my church was there too and I didn’t even know she was going.

Bottom line Jodie and I started practising and for about 35 sessions, everything was going fine and people were getting set free. But then a lady growled at me and spoke in a male’s deep voice over a Zoom ministry session and that was the doorway to phone a friend to help us learn deliverance, which was a real eye opener.

This started a fantastic journey of exploration for our team and Doors of Freedom was born which expanded to five people.

The Holy Spirit would lead us beautifully to other ministries to learn and then for the next few sessions, God would bring us the people who needed those very tools.  Fast forward 5 years later, we have a holistic model using more than 28 tools from 12 different ministries (shown in the diagram) and it’s been an absolute joy and pleasure. We also received about six months of personal mentoring from Chuck DeVetter who founded One Whole Heart in the USA.

Our team members are led to learn something, then they share it and teach it to the rest of us.
I also head up Inner Healing and Deliverance. at Raising Royalty, a global  discipling nations network.

We see inner healing as a combination of left and right brain tools, watering and weeding, leaving orphan mindsets for sonship, confronting self sabotage and healing trauma, parts and dissociation.  For me it is having as many tools that the Holy Spirit can draw on to help people get free.

In terms of highlights ministering to people there are many.  In the early days the glory of God came on people twice in the sessions and I said, ” that is much better than anything we are going to do so stay in that and we continue later.” Another highlight is how Jesus uses humour to break the shame and pain of someone who suffered Satanic Ritual Abuse.
Most recently we have been seeing God show off in healing Kiwi women who have suffered awful sexual abuse as children. As a result, they have significant dissociation and internal conflict for decades. One of these ladies, all her parts, had an absolute party with Jesus and it is a joy and privilege to have a front row seat watching Father Son and Holy Spirit do their thing.

I would love to see Inner Healing become normal for every Christian. It is a joy to see people transformed but also it pains me that some Christians never receive the tremendous freedom that is ours in Christ.  I am excited that AIHN is building a strong healthy network that can make inner healing normal.

It saddens me when some leaders prevent their people from getting healed because they don’t understand it or have never received it for themselves.

I sense God has asked me to train up 100 healthy ministry teams who know how to love one another and resolve conflict. I started an online school and will be working more on this in the future as well as mentoring government and business leaders.

Collaboration between ministries excites me too. In our process, we invite friends in to minister to people who have different graces to us. There is no competition.

Can’t wait for the AIHN conference and see everyone there

Much love
Justin
