That’s what this day is all about: discovering how to pray effectively, overcome spiritual barriers, and walk in the victory Jesus has already won for you.Three inspiring teaching and activation sessions will be led by Leisa Pascoe, Wendy Hayes, and Sharon King to empower you to be all you were created to be.

The JESUS encounters are based on biblical principles. They are the fruit of the simple but powerful message of Jesus and what He has achieved through the cross and His resurrection for every person. The Jesus encounters use creative ways to bring people into the fullness of His truth that sets the captive free.
For more than 10 years I have used the principles of ‘the JESUS encounter’ to lead many out of darkness into His love and freedom. I can only credit the Lord being the author and finisher of ’the JESUS encounter’ as it was not a direction I would have chosen to pursue. It is a work in progress that continues to unfold the wonders and mysteries who He is and how much He loves us.
In essence, it is the generosity and power of Jesus’ love that is at the heart of each Jesus Encounter.

This course seeks to untangle this complex issue, investigating the roots of fear and anxiety as well as looking at how human solutions are less than perfect and can even be unhelpful. It also looks at how we can develop a misconception of how God views us in our struggles and, instead of finding the Lord in our place of need, we find our own ways of coping and controlling our lives to avoid the discomfort and weakness of fear.
This event commences at 7.30pm on the Friday and concludes at 9.15pm on the Saturday evening.
